I hit recording button - the puppet freezes and there is no recording performed

I hit recording button - the puppet freezes and there is no recording performed. I went through everything: I set the rest pose, marked whatever I want to record, hit the recording button the puppet in the scene freezes and the play arrow doesn't even move. Please help.

    Do you:

    • Have the puppet selected in the timeline?
    • Have at least one behavior armed (red) in the right properties?
    • Have a working webcam and microphone?
    • See any warning messages appear?

    If not, can you please post a screenshot and/or video of what happens when you press record? You should see a "Recording" prompt appear - do you not even see that?

    Also:

    • Does the playhead move if you click the Play button?
    • If you open the application Preferences, is the Default Input and Default Output audio hardware settings set to appropriate options for your system?
