Illustrator and Character Animator Template

What is the right way to use a blank puppet template to create a puppet in different positions? I was able to get a working puppet using a blank template but as soon as I add new positions (e.g. frontal, right side, left side etc..) to the same charcater, I have issues with the scene. Do you create a new template for each view?

Check out Dave Werner on YouTube.  He is one of the leads on Adobe Character Animator.  He has so many videos that explain pretty much everything you can think of and more.

The Adobe Education Exchange used to do a 5 week free course on Character Animator, sadly.... they do not do live courses anymore.  But I think the files and videos are still online.

I assume you are working according to this help article: https://helpx.adobe.com/adobe-character-animator/using/prepare-artwork.html

If this causes issues in Character Animator then I would suggest you ask in the CA forum. https://community.adobe.com/t5/character-animator/bd-p/character-animator?page=1&sort=latest_replies&filter=all
