Do you have Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe After Effects installed on your PC?
If you only have Adobe Character Animator, installing NDI Tool may not affect the video output.

Please install Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe After Effects first, then try installing NDI Tool again.
Thank you.

Hey there,

Thanks for the message. Sounds frustrating. It's been awhile since I set up Ch for streaming. It can be a bit fussy. Which version are you running? The most current version does support NDI, so it should work. Hopefully, a fellow expert or community member can chime in. I'll see if one of my colleagues can get it working on PC (currently no access to a PC at my home office).

In the meantime, you might try the following:

Run as Administrator (Windows)

On Windows, try launching Character Animator as an administrator. This can resolve permission-related issues that prevent NDI from initializing.

Reset Preferences

Hold Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) while launching Character Animator to reset preferences. This can fix UI glitches or missing options. Note that you will lose any customizations you have made.

Check Firewall and Network Settings

NDI requires network access. Ensure your firewall or antivirus isn’t blocking Character Animator or NDI processes.

Sorry again for the issues. I hope we can help you solve this shortly.

Thanks,
Kevin
