import background in basic mode?

Hello all

Just to be sure: it is possible to import a puppet but not a background into the basic mode, am I right?

I am working on an humanitarian context, in an educative project. A teacher has to use a puppet to give courses but there is no classroom background in basic mode.

I'm afraid she won't be able to use the pro mode.

First off, you are correct that starter mode in the current (23.1 as of this writing) doesn't have an option to upload a custom background. However, starter mode does have a custom background option in the latest beta which is a pretty good sign that a future update of the regular release will also have that feature.

    Good afternoon, on a related issue, I attempted to import a background which i in jpeg format into Character Animator Pro. The background imported but it doesn't show on the canvas. Please see the attached example.

    Did you drag the background onto the timeline? What happens?
