Question

Internal error code (356597792:418+24) assertion failed

Does anyone know what this means, or how I can fix it? I was working just fine in Ai and Ch, then went into rig mode and got this error. Exiting and restarting Ch doesn't help, nor does restarting the computer. (MS Surface Desk 2, Windows 10, Adobe Creative Cloud)

Can you tell us what you were doing when that message was displayed?   Or does it happen when you go to start the app?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Character Animator?

Now it happens when I start the app. I assumed it might be a corrupt file,
so I experimented with creating a new project (with the same puppet), and
the problem did not occur when I opened the new project, so my theory might
be correct.

When I was in the initial project, I would see the issue when I clicked on
Rig mode and tried to click on one of the layers.
