Is it possible to increase puppet's resolution/pixel density without having to redo the rigging?

When I increase the puppet's resolution in photoshop (by increasing image size) it throws all the rigging out of whack. Can anyone suggest a solution?

Not that i know of. You have to rerig it (move all the handles and sticks etc) if you change the resolution of the artwork
