is there a demo version that can be used before making a paid subscription?

I am really interested in tis but I just don't want to go ahead and make a payment without being sure of my ability to use the application, I would like to know if there is a demo version that can be used for about 30 days just so I can get the hang of CA before deciding to make a paid subscription.

There will eventually be a free version of CH with limited features, but I do not know the ETA. Currently, CH is integrated into Adobe CC and can be tried with the trial version of Adobe CC.

Thanks for your reply! is there a way to get the character animator alone or do I have to get CC also? it feels unneccessary to get the entire CC when all I need right now is the character animator

I don't know too many details about the free version, but I believe it is free standing. The full version uses PS, AI and ME for input and export and therefore is not available on its own.
