Is there a way to connect 2 objects (layers) to interact together ?

I know by making them in group (folder) can do the job but I want to join 2 objects

in different group (folder) is it possible ?

what I am trying to do is simple ( but I don't know how to do it... )

right arm & hands are attached to the body and is always visible

left arm & hands are hid by the body (but they are visible when I move them)

I want to make my left hand to bypass the body at some specific time

so layer & folder order is like the following

-----

bypassed left hand (what I want to connect with the left arm !)

right arm & hand (group)

torso (group)

left arm & hand (group)

-----

this is what I am trying to do any help would be really appreciated

thanks in advance !

It sounds like you have a character facing a certain direction that causes it's left arm to be hidden until you move it right, but then you want it to appear in front of the body, but because it's behind in the layers it goes back to hidden right?

I would create a second arm layer on top of the body

Then create a swap set in Charater Animator and put both of the arms in that swap set.

With that you can trigger the arm to appear behind or in front of the body.
