Limit Pupil Movement in Glasses

I made a character whose eyeballs are the full range of his glasses. His pupils keep snapping to the edge of the lenses like this.

Is there an easy way to limit how far the pupils go? Maybe no more than 80% of that distance?

Thanks!

You can adjust the eye gaze strength to limit the range. Its a bit hit or miss, but it might work.

The other way is to create a pupil range layer smaller than the glass rims. That will restrict the pupils to that range. https://extra-ordinary.tv/2018/04/21/debugging-character-animator-eyess/ might have some useful hints if you scan through for the pupil range discussion.

Oh and the snapping vs finer control over eye positions is a setting if the eye gaze property.
