Lip Sync delay

I have created my own puppet but I notice the lip syncing has a slight delay when I'm talking. How do I fix this?

I have not encountered this situation. It's possible that the puppet and/or scene is too complex for your computer. You can simplify a puppet by identifying and removing hidden layers or artifacts. Even if they're not seen, these items are still being processed by the program.

Would this be due to the background images in the scene? I could remove those but I can't remove anything from the puppet himself

I'm not sure I understrand. Are you not able to edit the puppet or there is nothing left to remove?

How many background images do you have? What resolution are they?
