Losing takes on latest Character Animator 2022

After I rig and do the first take performance such as Face Camera Imput,   The following performance take such as a DRAGGER of a limb, immediately turns the first performance into an orange bar with no link to the first performance. It's gone.  I've spent the weekend trying to figure this out. I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled Character Animator and I'm using all updated software. I had to remove the previous software for lack of space.  I'm using a 13 inch Macbook pro M1 2020.
