Malware in Adobe Character Animator

Question

Hi!

I am using a 2012 mac, updated

I don't know if this problem has occured with anyone yet, but when I downloaded Adobe Character Animator, I recieved a warning from my anti-malware programs that Character Animator contains potentially fraudulent software. I would very much like to use CA, but I am uncertain if I should go ahead. If anyone has had this similar issue, please let me know!

I'm assuming you're just downloading it through the Creative Cloud desktop app? If so, that's coming directly from Adobe and none of them should have any malware. You can try downloading another app through the CCD app and see if you get the same message. My guess is it's probably overly-sensistive protection in place.
