Mouth Disappearing for Seemingly Random Frames

Hello, thanks for taking the time to read this.

I've read through every support forum I can find about disppearing mouths and none of the fixes applied to whatever issue I'm experiencing. My puppet seems to be working perfectly, except when I'm talking or importing audio to be used for lip syncing, the mouth disappears for a frame frequently. It's very noticeable, and I can't seem to find the cause for the flashing mouth.

Please help! Thank you so much.

Correct answer ElectroPuppet

You need to apply a Cycle Layers Behavior for the layered mouths (Uh, W-Oo) and then set trigger End to 'Stop Immediately' and checkbox 'hold on last layer'.

What is happening is when those sounds are triggered, Character Animator doesn't know to cycle an animation.

Like TheOriginalGC mentioned, I'm not sure why you have the layers inside the Uh and W-Oo linked to something? The top level should be set to cycle and the layers inside shouldn't be layered or tagged to anything.
Hope that helps.

Is anything else disappearing at the same time, like an eyelid? Would it be possible to see a screenshot of the rigging and hierarchy for your head?

Just the mouth, everything else appears to be working properly. Here you go:

I'm trying to figure out what behaviors you have attached to the mouth parts. It's normal to have cycle layers on there, but not when there's only a single layer. Is there something else attached?
