Moving timeline movements to another puppet

Is there a way of saving the scene and replacing the puppet and having them do the exact same movements?

Have you tried copy and paste of the track / timeline information?  It has its best go lining things up (but does not always work). Originally this was not supported, but they have improved support over the years.
