My face background moves while my characters facial expression stays

Hi! It's me again.

 

Just to explain my issue, I am very new to adobe CH and am trying to animate a character that's not human.

 

He is round and has arms only.

 

I have two problems right now.

 

Firstly, when the face moves, the facial expressions do not follow.

Secondly, the arms do not follow the face as well. So the face moves alone. 

 

Please help.

Could you share a screenshot of the rigging hierarchy/? With the layers expanded? That can help spot independence issues as TheOriginalOC mentioned, but can also show how you have nested the layers. Nesting and independence are very important in CH.

Check the independence. Most likely some layer that you have marked as independent shouldn't be. That will keep the parts moving together.
