Hi everyone, so I’ve spent a whole two days trying to make this puppet’s pupils work, and let me tell you, I’ve tried practically every suggestions on the internet. This is not my first puppet, but definitely the first one with this frustrating issue!

Here’s the puppet file on Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1i1upem07DJSw-ttwHTXVl38Ut8hNZGeG/view?usp=sharing

If anyone can look into this, I’d be super super duper pro max grateful!

The issue appears to be that the layers were not where the program expected them to be. The eyebrows should be part of the head group, not the individual eyes. Also, the extra “eyes” group layer is unnecessary and could have been contributing to the program’s confusion. When I moved the layers (and removed the eyes layer group) the puppet started working as it should. See the image below to see what changes I made:

Thank you so much for offering help 😭✨ I hope not to bother you but it seems the layers fix did not solve the problem on my side. In truth, your suggested layer hierarchy was how I originally put it, and the uploaded file was the version after I tried all sort of “fixes” suggested else where.

Can you please help me look into this puppet after I applied your suggestions? I don’t know why it still doesn’t work on my end: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kyBFvMHQ7ATIxD_jvSU1Sf6liuzyCvC9/view?usp=sharing

Again, thank you SO MUCH for making the world a better place

@k_oshiro Translated from Japanese to English using translation software.

Hello. I have corrected your puppet.
The range of movement of the eyes was spanning the entire canvas.
Did you create this image in Adobe Photoshop?
If you create it in another app, such as Procreate, the eyes will span the entire canvas.
So I selected everything except the eyes in Photoshop and deleted that part.
    Just for your reference.
