Navigating the timeline horizontally

Navigating the timeline horizontally is done by holding shift and scrolling the mousewheel, I do feel that this could be done much smoother. For example by just clicking the middle mouse wheel and dragging, like the way most other programs work with that feature. I think people would be much more used to it right away.

I also experience that when I first zoom the timeline with Alt + Scroll, I have to click once before I can use Shift+scroll to navigate horizontally. This really makes it feel unsmooth to navigate the timeline. A simple upgrade for this would make it more pleasent to work in character animator! 🙂 Would be amazing if it could be fixed
