Need guidance on how to animate a picture with this software

Hello there!

I want to use motion capture and this software to make this specific picture move when I speak. I basically want it to come to life.

I tried creating a new style with it but the result was horrendous because I dont think it was the appropriate tool. Should I try to make a puppet from scratch or maybe try to draw pictures with different expressions?

I'm a newbie when it comes to animation and motion capture which is why I need help on how to make this picture move. I know I'm asking for a lot since I do not have any knowledge on the matter but I did not really know what to search for.
