New Error Message

Hi All,

Just received this new error message after opening an existing project:

Error reading past end of file: '/Volumes/a_cache/Terry Project/CH Files/Just Head/Version 2/Ch Data/temp.noindex/WarpCache/5b53622d-2346-425a-acca-9cc100000190'

Error code: (Container.js:307)

Error code: (engine.js:1312)

Error code: (bootstrap.js:3)

Any clues what it points to and how to work around it Adobe, as the project now just hangs at "Preparing Scene".

  • Does going back in the History panel several steps help solve the problem? Usually these kind of errors are because some kind of illegal / buggy action took place, and rewinding in the history (and sometimes restarting CH) should solve them.
  • Are any files in a Dropbox, Google Drive, or similar cloud-backed up drive? Due to the large number of files CH creates for each project, having them always cloud-synced can create issues if one file gets out of sync. If you move your .chproj file and the supplemental CH Data / Media folders to a local drive does it help at all?
