No Audio...Extreme show stopper, Like bug so big it should have halted rollout

Tried a .wav, an .MP3

As character animator has NO audio options to ensure we simply hope it is set to system sound. I see a waveform, exported it from audition, all is fine, bring it in even in it sown scene, ZERO audio will play...no audio. Project is 100% dead in the water now. Using absolute latest version.

Also, there is ZERO real time playback, when I hit play the timeline scrubs through but the scene freezes.

There are audio settings under preferences (bottom if edit menu?). Sorry, not at a computer just now to check. Look for “audio hardware” I think it is called.

Strange about playback! if you render the scene (export to media encoder), does the created mp4 file play? How complex is your scene?

Are you in CH or AE with a dynamic link? I find AE sluggish at times.
