not showing the full body

Hi, I have a full body psd file but when I import it inside character animate, it only shows the left arm.  How do I fix this?

Try lowering the value of the scale.

      Weird! Does the full layer hierarchy appear in ch? Ch does not support all photoshop features. My guess is the layers are using a feature ch does not support. You might need to rasterize the layers of something.

      could you explain the rasterize process a little please?

      I am not a photoshop expert, but I think in photoshop you can right click on a layer and if it is "smart objects" and stuff like that there is a "rasterize layer" option which replaces all the clever stuff in the layer with a rasterized (bitmap) version. You can no longer do nice editing, but its a simple bitmap which I think CH is more likely to understand. (This is all a guess as to why the layers do not appear in CH.)

       

      Providing a screenshot of the layer tree in Photoshop and the rigging tree in Ch might also give some hints to the problem. Just paste screenshot directly into the text area and it in lines it here in the forums
