Question

Only one set of mouths for lipsinc works at a time

I have a problem with the lipsync, I have two sets of mouth, Happy and Sad ... there is only one of the two that can work at the same time, always the one who is above in the hierarchy, if I want to have the other set of mouths I must put it on top and there it works, this way I cannot go from Happy to Sad mouths by pressing a trigger. And if I want to make a lipsync compute from a sound, I have to put the mouth set that I want used in default even if it is not the main mouth set.

If you open up the Lipsync behavior, I think you will find it looks for a "Mouth" tagged layer, then looks for one set of visemes under that layer. Does the mouth have "2" next to it? I think you will find it is "1". What layer did it bind to?

The other approach I have used at times is to add a second Lipsync behavior. But I think last time I looked into it that was not actually neecessary - it just had to find 2 mouths first... but I cannot find that thread just now. I did find this one which might help: https://community.adobe.com/t5/character-animator-discussions/sad-mouth-triggers-but-will-not-lip-synch-neutral-mouth-ok/td-p/11744525

Unrelated, beware of going too far with indpenedent layers. As soon as you have an independent layer with all children independent, its almost certainly wrong. There will be nothing for the children to attach to as there is no artwork in the parent. You "Mouths" layer probably does not need to be indepenedent for example
