open in illustrator not photoshop

Hello!!I downloaded a puppet from okaysamurai and when I click to edit original file in character animator it opens in photoshop, which I am less familiar with. Does anyone know how to open it in illustrator? It is the Eliza 3 view in case that helps.Thank you!!!

Puppet artwork attached to rigging are either photoshop or illustrator. You can try to import the photoshop file into illustrator and see how good a job it does, then save it and relink the puppet to the new file. But no idea if it will work. Depends how good illustrator is in handing all the photoshop capabilities. Normally you just stick with the program the creator used.

Some puppets have been created with illustrator and photoshop so you can pick, but that is the exception.
