Past Project are Empty

I need to redo all of my past projects, but when opening the files, no characters, scenes, puppets, or other media loads. Examining the files, they are all 0kb (not sure if that is normal and simply a reference file for project).

Has anyone experienced this issue and been able to retrieve their project assets/media?

Please note that the *.chproj file is always empty. It is just something to double click on. All the contents are in the subdirectories. Are all the files in all the subdirectories zero length as well? If so something has messed them up good a propper!

Only one past project has a CH Media folder, all the others do  not. The one that has the media folder is the only one that still works (e.g. has previous puppets and settings).

This is wildly unfortunate. Thanks for helping me at least isolate the problem.

The Character Animator project is made up of 4 things:

1. The folder
2. The .chproj file (usually the name matches the folder, if it doesn't the user has manually renamed one of them)
3. The Ch Media folder (this is actually optional if you're externally referencing files)
4. The Ch Data folder

All of these items are needed for a project to be functional so it's imperative that they stay together. One thing you can do if you have only the chproj file is to search your machine for the same name and you should find a folder with the same name.
