Photoshop Layer Style won't show up in Character Animator

Trying to make a puppet from a base I made (Gonna resuse it a lot) However everytime I import the model into Character Animator The layer styles I made to the puppet do not show up in CHaracter animator.

Is there a way to fix this or Am I just going to have to Merge Layers together? Heres a photo of the issue.
