Premiere freezes when attempting to import Character Animator project

I've tried multiple ways: "Import," Using the Media Browser and dragging, Media Browser and clicking "import," dragging from the folder into premiere.  Every time I attempt to bring it in, Premiere freezes up and I have to close it using task manager.  Anyone experience this or have any suggestions?  Thanks.
