Hi

I can't swithc to pro mode in Ch, I do have a creative cloud active account, but is a student one, is this why?

As I understand it, this feature is still in beta. Everyone currently using the full version is experiencing what will eventually be known as "pro" mode.

Then the person who advertises it in Okay Samurai's videos should
explicitly tell everyone that so we don't think something is wrong. There
should also be a message in Adobe Character Animator when the software
first boots up saying that it is Beta and might not be on the screen right
now. There has to be an obvious notification about it being in beta because
of the videos that advertise it is available.

If you're not seeing Beta, then you won't see pro mode. The current (non-beta) version has all of the features you'll get in pro mode. I'll see if I can get @oksamurai to explain it better than I can.

You are not alone. I paid for the entire year subscription of Creative Cloud yet I only have the last two icons on the top left corner in the Character Animator. I do not believe it has anything to do with your subscription being a Student version.
