Question

Puppet disappears from scene when I mask the eyes

Helllo,

I am having a strange issue where my puppet disappears from my scene when I try to mask the eyes in frontal, quarter and profile views. I need the mask because my pupils are big.

The mask did work before I added the walk and head turner behaviour, so maybe the head turner behaviour is causing it? or the walk beahaviour?

Thank you in advance

Ps: the puppet is set up like the Ninja puppet

Japanese is translated into English using translation software.

The puppet you created does not have the clipping mask applied to the eyes at all angles.

(1) Place a white eye layer below the pupil layer
(2)Create a clipping mask from the upper menu Puppet

Thank you.

I downloaded the puppet and the first thing I did was turn off the independence on all of the views (the root, not the sub folders) so that the hair stayed with the head. I've not seen any issues with the masking layers, but then again, I don't think I'm seeing the pupil being blocked by the mask. Be aware that masks in PS and AI do not translate to CH and you have to create an opaque layer to cover it up to work properly.
