Puppet riding a horse

Trying to figure out how to do this, hoping someone can help.

If I have two puppets, one is a horse and one is a person:

The horse is standing at a 45 degree angle to the camera.

How do you get one of the person's legs over the horse?

I've tried hiding one of the legs entirely but it looks terrible.

The person is top layer

Horse is bottom layer

Thank you!

Japanese is converted to English using translation software.

(1) Place the back hands and feet on the layer below the horse puppet layer.

2) Connect the upper body layer to the lower body layer using the Leader & Follower behavior.

Here is an instructional video in Japanese.

Thanks.

This doesn't solve the problem. In your example the horse and rider are combined into one puppet. I have the horse as one puppet and the rider as another.

Sorry I can't help you.
In order to move the horse and the person together, the
Two separate puppets structurally need to be recognized as one puppet.
The only way to do that is to combine them in rig mode and adjust the layered structure.
