Is there a way to rig ams with 2 arm parts (an upper arm and lower arm on 2 different layers) instead of rigging one long arm?

Yes, but it's a bit painful to use as you have to put a dragger on the elbow and a dragger on the wrist. But it does work.

Basically you next the lower arm inside an upper arm group, like you do with hands.

Body

. +Right Arm

. . Upper arm artwork

. . +Right lower arm

. . . Lower arm artwork

. . . Hand positions swap set

. . . . Point

. . . . Wave
