record buttons vanished in character animator

i went through a tutorial to get a character set up than when i was ready to make my first recording the buttons are nowhere to be found, and i am seriosly thinking about gving up on trying character animator because when ever i enter something dissapears, and now i cant record, so idk what about that but i would like to be able to just use the record buttong but i cant find it

A screenshot might help as well.  Does Control-R still start recording?

 

For example I found if I made the scene panel narrow, the record button would disappear (its off the edge of the screen). Making the panel wider again showed the record button (and other buttons) again.

This does not sound ideal. I've never hear about record button unavailability in Character Animator. Do not worry! We're here to help you. 

 

  • Which version of Adobe Character Animator are you using?
  • Have you recently made any change in the applications interface?
  • Could you share a screenshot of what you see?
