Record only the face of a puppet

Hi,

I am very new to character animate. I wanted to know how to zoom in or just select a part of the puppet to record. I am wanting to just record the face of my puppet close up while he is talking. I tried playing around with "transform" increasing "x" and "y" values. Am I on the right track? Is there a better way?

There are a good set of videos here: https://www.okaysamurai.com/CHFAQ/

You can use Transform and adjust the X/Y scale values. I do this to get characters correctly sized in the scene relative to each other. In more recent versions of CH however there is a "Camera track" you can add. This allows you to zoom the camera in which can be easier than scaling the puppet. E.g. if you have several things in a scene, you have to do them all together. Using camera zoom you just keyframe the camera values (position, zoom, etc) and you are done.
