Recording a character is lagging with camera

I have a new computer with an I9, 32GB and RTX 4070. When I try to record my movements the recording is lagging behind and skipping. I have it set to 24fps. My previous laptop with less specs did not have any issues with this. I feel like I am missing something. I am using the newest version 24.2.

By any chance are you using bluetooth for anything? The software will definitely lag when trying to process that.

    I have tried recording both with and without my bluetooth headphones. Same result.
