I have no idea what is wrong here

she is appearing without one eye even though all layers are visible and present

does this have something to do with a mask maybe?

to be clear, it only disappears in record/stream mode, but not in rig

any help appreciated!

suppose I'll have to use an eyepatch if i can't get it sorted (lol)

Nice artwork! Are you able to share what the project is about? (I personally like anime styled artwork myself.

Yes, the clipping mask is probably the problem. Clipping takes *all* of the following layers (not just the next single layer). That is why I always put the pupil second last and the eyeball (mask) last and nothing following. I use the eyeball to mask the pupil. (I usually also put eyelids on top, which may seem unnecessary, but I find the combination of the two is safer - the eyelids/eyelashes you want in front of the pupil, but sometimes the pupil can sneak out lower or above the eyelids/lashes, so the eyeball as a mask guarantees that does not happen.

So to fix it, just move that extra layer up higher under the same parent.

Thanks! yeah I hadn't noticed; I was experimenting with a t-shirt layer, and completely forgot about it and somehow it ended up in the eye group.

It's not for any project in particular, I actually stream on twitch with it, with "redemptions" that trigger animations on the character that's why when I post here the style is constantly different, as I update it every few days before stream.

Overwatch

Thanks again!

Cool! Thanks! I will check them out.

I have been live-streaming tutorials on YouTube to experience things first hand (nobody watches! ;-). Tools like midi and replays seem particularly useful for streaming - eg midi foot pedals to trigger a replay so your hands can stay busy On the game etc st hand.

I also was tinkering with HTC Vive controllers to control a puppet making it easier to control two hands and body movements all at the same time. Seemed useful for live presentations, but just using a replay was easier for streaming!
