Running Character deforms

Hey Folks,
I am experimenting with Character Animator over the past weeks and ran into an issue, I neither could solve so far, nor find any solution on the web.

I created a character based on "Alex Blank" and made him a 3-view character.
The character is supposed to run in ine scene, what I tried to manage via the walk behaviour.

Everything seems to be set up and rigged correctly, but my character still keeps on haveing ne essential problem:
His left shoulder seems to pull the body in the running direction as if he tried to lean forward, but the head pulls back the neck to the original position.
This leads into weird deformation of chest, neck and partially the head.

Does anyone have an idea, of what I could check?

I´de be thankfull for any idea.

Thanks

Best

Alex

Minimal recommendation: make the head layers independent (crowned)

This at least makes the puppet's head follow the body better with the Walk behavior.

There are many possible reasons for your reported issue. Please share your puppet on a cloud storage like Google Drive so we can assist you with specifics.

Side note:

I generally recommend using Motion Library over Walk behavior even for walking motions. Motion Library will undoubtedly look better for running motions. I don't mean that your puppet will necessarily work right away with Motion Library without further rigging - but if it does, it could be an easy solution.

Thank you very much for your fast reply.
I uploaded the "problem"-puppet here:

I definetely will have a dive into motion library, but for understanding reasons right now would like to realize, what went wrong with the way I tried to solve it.

Thank you very much in advance!
