Saving a project

Dears, I have an issue with copying projects.

I create an animation project and save it.

I then go to create a similar animation while keeping the camera settings and everything else. So I copy the project folder and I rename it. When I open the copied file, I get an empty projects. All the assets are there, but all the settings are gone.

I there a correct way to replicate projects while keeping all settings?

Top menu
File→Copy media files to project folder
Pressing this will create Gathered Media in the project folder, Ch Media, and copy the necessary PSD and Ai files.
This way, there will be no broken links.
Then save the project under a different name by going to File→Save Project As.
Please try it.

Thank you for your reply. I tried this before and it did not work. It does load up the project files, but all the timeline and camera settings are gone! I would have to do the animation all over again.
