Send Markers from AE to Character Animator?

I can send markers from CA to AE no problem, I can edit them in CA and update the markers in AE no problem, but is there a way to send or edit Markers from After Effects to Character Animator? I'd like my puppet to sync up with visuals in After Effects, and Markers would be super helpful.
