Sharing Ch project

Question

I'm working with a colleague and I can't open her file neither she can open mine. The project is saved in dropbox

I gat this error message (attached below). How can we work as a team on one single project?

Ch is fussy. Never save your project in a folder which has cloud sharing turned on - its not safe. Ch and the cloud sharing software fight over files.

No, it is not safe for you both to make edits and sync to a shared cloud location. It will not intelligently merge changes.

What you can do is have one person use "Export Puppet" then save that puppet file into the cloud. Then the other person can import that puppet. So you can share assets - but its up to you to keep track of which is the most recent version. Just don't sync the actual project (meaning you cannot share scenes and recordings etc, just puppets).

You can export MP4 files separately then stitch them together with Prem Pro or similar.

So there are ways to worth together, but it takes coordination.
