Smoothed out blinking?

hey!  I got character animator yesterday, and after ambitiously building the first puppet, I'm creating a second today.

So I had a question regarding the eye blinking.  I have blink layers that work, but before adding those, I noticed that the eye shapes could flatten to match your eyes closing in the webcam.  Are those possible to add while you have a blink layer, and if so, how?

My puppet has a rather jumpy blink, so those would help smooth it out.

Thanks!

I am not sure, but I think you can use “blink” *or* eyelid strenth (controlled by the camera). I don’t think you can use both together.  You might however look into “cycle layers” - I have not tried it, but you might be able to do a few frames for the link to smooth it out using cycle layers For the blink.
