[SOLVED] Puppet works in CH, but .chproj import into After Effects shows only as color bars

The .chproj is named properly the same as the parent folder. I import via menu OR drag in the .chproj and neither work.  It shows me my one scene to choose, I choose it and the little preview window shows all black. Then I hit OK to import the CH scene and it is made up as color bars.

The .chproj works perfectly fine in CH but does not display in AE.
