Stick Tool not working

I have added sticks to my puppet following @10959849 Samurai's instruction but it seems that doesn't work on my puppet. Please kindly have a look.

the problem is if I drag the hand (a dragable handle is pinned there), the arm stretches all the way, not keeping a normal shape of an arm.

The sticks are to prevent bending, not stretching/shortening.

To prevent stretching/shortening, please use Limb IK. For Limb IK to work, you also need to put body-related tags on your handles.
