Stretching arm issue

Hi everyone, I've been trying my hand at this program recently. I have created a puppet in illustrator and am trying to animate it following the okaysamurai tutorials. Despite having added handles in correspondence of shoulders, elbows and hands "draggable" and the rigid segments to the arms, the arms still have the stretching effect. What can I try?
