Swap set arms swap randomly

I have a character whose arms are palm back when they are at his side and as he lifts his arms over shoulder height his arms should swap to palm facing us. Instead they switch randomly at all angles. Strange this is that my first attempt was successful.

Hi
The auto swap feature is difficult to control.
You can control the fine timing by using a cycle layer or a layer picker.

I don't have a great deal of experience with Autoswap. It sounds like when you drag the arms, sometimes they just move when they are supposed to swap. Is that correct? Are there certain circumstances when you can always replicate that error?

Thanks. you're right, sometimes they swap to the upper set when they should just act like the lower set.

I rerigged all the arms from the beginning and it seems that on the right hand it now does the random back and forth and the left does it correctly. So now I'm looking for inconsistencies between the two.

I suspect that the Autoswap behavior can get a little jittery at points where it is trying to decide which asset to use. I wish I could be more helpful, but I have no experience with the development of the feature.
