System Specs for Non-Laggy Dynamic Link?

Hello!

I tried using Dynamic Link with Premiere Pro to make a clip, but the playback is basically non-existent.

I'm not familiar with After Effects, but I noticed the playback works, but it's choppy.

My question is, what kind of hardware should I focus on to make for non laggy dynamic linking in both programs? Google gives lots of conflicting answers.

Current System Specs:

AMD Ryzen 7 2700 Eight-Core Processor, 3200 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)

(RAM) 16.0 GB

NVIDIA GForce GTX 90

I suspect it does a final render quality with AE, so it will always be slower. Dynamic Link is useful, but personally I find it faster to work in CH, especially with the new keyframing and camera controls etc.
