Takes missing from timeline?

Hi there! I am trying to follow a replay tutorial by Okay Samurai, but my timeline has no takes.

Is there an option for viewing/hiding takes from the timeline? I have been looking but can't find anything. The arrow to expand is also active and nothing shows.
