Teardrops automatically triggered by eye blink: how to?

Hi everyone, first post here.

First of all I'd really want to thank Dave for his complete tutorials, where I could find almost every answer I needed since I started using this wonderful software just a few weeks ago!

Now I have a Sadness toon character with animated tears in its open eyes.

I'd like to have tear drops spreading from its eyes on each blink, both from automatic behaviour and from Face motion capture.

Could someone kindly help me?

Many thanks in advance.

Greetings

Alessandro

Thank you for your kind reply.

The number of frames isn't a problem, they're three for now but I've also thought about adding some empty frames in order to give some delay at start.

What I wasn't able to do is to link both events together...

I was thinking of making the tears part of the blink sequence, removing the reverse part of the blink. Then the eyes would close, the tears would start, and continue as the eyes opened again. Admitedly, I'm pretty much thinking out loud at this point.

Hi, I just made a .chproj, here's the WeTransfer link with zipped scene:

I'd like to use eye blinking to automatically trigger the Tears animation (now manually triggered pressing T), but I can't figure how to.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for sharing the animation. The only way I can think about making that work would be to link the tear animation with the eye blink, making them the same animation. Depending on how many frames are in the tears, this might not be possible.
