The Edit>>Edit Original - is not opening Photoshop

Hey

Trying to work on a character in photoshop but when I go to edit >> original the character does not appear in photoshop....

Please Help me (the photoshop is open)

    Windows or Mac? On Windows I had problems that uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop fixed. It somehow lost the bindings from .psd to photoshop. CH does the same sort of thing as double clicking on the file - if that is not working, then CH “Edit Original” won’t work either.
