Are there any options for windows yet? I've been using OBS and the chrome key filter but it doesn't look great (green outline, and I have some green in my character)

I use transparency with OBS on Windows. No chroma key - I use the NDI plugin inside CH to stream out NDI video, which supports transparency, then an NDI source in OBS.

If you’re having issues with the green outline or chroma spill in OBS, try adjusting the similarity and smoothness sliders in the Chroma Key filter  that usually helps remove the edge glow. You can also experiment with a blue screen instead of green if your character has green tones.

As for Windows transparency, there isn’t a fully native solution yet, but some streamers use plugins like OBS Shaderfilter Plus or Spout2 for more advanced transparency effects.

https://extra-ordinary.tv/2018/10/22/project-wookie-a-beginner-youtube-playlist/ - have a look at the project wookie play list videoes for samples. I have not done one on OBS, but you can see the result.

This is fantastic (your project). I'll try the NDI route. I swear I d/led it but it doesn't show up in OBS. Am I supposed to still use the game capture option or an NDI option?
