Trigger audio to walk? Anyone?

Hmmm. I assume you have tried the different replay options (i have not tried them with walk myself, but i can believe what you are saying is right)

I was trying to work out if you can use blending to "position' instead, but I cannot see how to layer one on top of the other.

The only other thing that i was wondering about is midi - you can get button boards with lots of buttons then use that to trigger different replays. eg there is an 8x8 board of buttons. I was wondering if you could reserve a row of 8 buttons to move to one of 8 positions on the stage. But it does not seem nice - pressing 2 keys might be simplier!! Considered foot pedals tied into midi?

No, I just realized you can't do it that way and you have to push another key plus walk to create audio if you are doing live. Because the character stops, I am not sure when he stops in the scene, so I am not sure how far to take my replay trigger. If I stop, and the character is live, he will go stand in the first place he was, because I didn't let the replay trigger play out.  He cannot stop on command and stand there if I don't use the walk behavior.  So, you must do a separate trigger and push them all at the same time.  

Have you looked at replays? You can create little recordings of combinations of actions, create a "replay" from it, then assign a keyboard trigger to the replay.
