Triggering a Fader with Audio only works fading in and not Fading Out

I feel like what I am trying to do should be relly simple but I am having issues getting it to work the way I want to.

I set a fader to my puppet so I can trigger him to dissappear, but I also attached a dissappearing sound effect to the trigger so it all plays simultaneously. The trigger with the sound effect works when my puppet fades in but it doesn't work when I fade out. Is there a way to reverse this action? Also, when I apply the fader to my puppet and I go back to record mode the whole puppet is in a fade out position. So he is not on screen until I trigger the fader.

I don't know if this helps but: I set a fader behavior to both the head and body, and then set them both to share the same trigger. I then added the .wav file to that same trigger so it can all play at the same time.

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Thank you for all of your help, k_oshiro! Your guide on how to make my character fade out with a sound trigger worked! Also, I did find a work around the fade in/out. In my other question, you taught me how to use keyframes so my puppet can exit left, enter left, exit right, enter right, ect. After learning that I can use keyframes and set them as triggers, I figured that I could do the same for the fade in/out but using the opacity tool in transform behavior. From there, I created the trigger and attached the .wav sound to the fade out trigger and it worked!

Unfortunately, in the current version, audio does not automatically play as the video fades out.
It is a bit of a hassle,
1) Trigger for video to fade in and out
(2) Trigger for audio to fade in
3) Trigger for audio to fade out
Three triggers must be created.
Switch the audio triggers according to the motion.
Thanks.
